Do I get some kind of reward on my birthday? During the month of your birthday, you can visit any Lids store and provide the code BDAY. Once your birth month is verified, you’ll be able to get a free one-stitch text embroidery.
Does lids Access Pass expire?
Each year when your Access Pass is approaching it’s expiration date, you will receive an e-mail notification letting you know it is time to renew. Do I earn points for orders I place online? Yes! You will receive points just like you do for purchases made in any of our store locations.

Can I return a hat to lids?
Lids allows all merchandise, with original receipt or packing slip, to be returned for a full refund within 30 days of the purchase to any of our local retail stores (exclusions may apply), or by mail to our Customer Care Department.

The hat retailer will start with one exclusive drop per week, and expects to work its way up to two a week, Lids’ president, Britten Maughan, told Retail Brew.

We can’t embroider over any logos on the sides, but we can embroider over back logos if they are small enough. If one of the sides is not available for embroidery it will display “Sorry, embroidery not allowed.”
Can you trade hats at Lids?
All items must be unworn, unwashed and in new condition to be eligible for a refund or merchandise credit. All sales are final on clearance items.
Can you return a hat to Lids without the stickers?
Returns must be in original condition, unworn/unused with original tags and labels. Your return item(s) will be inspected upon arrival before your refund is processed.
