The Golden Steer Steakhouse was founded in 1958. In our infancy, we were a small restaurant with a bar and dining room. Over the years, we have expanded by annexing the neighboring shops and in the ’70s by adding in a larger bar with an old Victorian ambiance reminiscent of the Gold Rush era of San Francisco.
