The purpose of the UIL is to organize and properly supervise contests that assist in preparing students for citizenship. It aims to provide healthy, character building, educational activities carried out under rules providing for good sportsmanship and fair play for all participants.

Who runs Texas high school sports?
TASO is an independent organization, providing support, resources and training for Texas high school and middle school sports officials. With more than 150 local chapters serving 16,000+ members throughout the state, we are one of the largest professional organizations for sports officials in the country.

Information regarding the review process for all solos & small ensembles can be found on the PML Submissions Overview.
